When you think about California, you may think only of people having fun in the sun—but the state takes healthcare quality improvement very seriously. The Integrated Health Association (IHA) Value Based Pay-for-Performance (P4P) program has been operating for almost 15 years and includes 10 health plans and over 200 California physician organizations caring for over 9 million members enrolled in commercial health maintenance organization and point of service products.
In addition to keeping track of program components such as incentive payments and recognition awards, physician organizations that are participating in the Value Based P4P program must also be aware of the many dates and deadlines that are associated with data collection and reporting for each measurement year. In 2016, deadlines start approaching quickly with NPI files for the measure that tracks physicians who participated in the CMS Meaningful Use Incentive Program in 2015 are due by January 29, 2016 and two other important deadlines before the end of February 2016.
Able Health wants to help you stay on top of the important dates and deadlines for the IHA Value Based P4P program. We put together this easy-to-read, printable calendar that will help you keep track of everything you need to report data on time for 2015 and to be prepared for registration and information applicable to 2016.
